Looking for a fun game to play with a big crowd? This game is fun for RA's to use with their floors, building, all of res life or just a large group of friends. I modeled it after the popular TV game show Family Feud when I made it for my floor 10 years ago. It does, however, require some work on the RA's or planners part to pull off. Want to do it the easy way? Just buy this board game and follow the rules and adaptations I've stated below.

Steps it takes to Complete this Game:
  • With a little preparation, you can play your own fun Family Feud game right at home. To set up the game, search for some online surveys and print them out or keep them on the host's phone. You'll also need a chalkboard or paper for the answer board, a timer, and buzzers.

  1. Develop your list of questions you'd like to survey.
  2. Create your survey using any tool you may wish: google docs, survey monkey, just e-mail what ever is most convenient for you all questions should be open ended.
  3. Get 100 individuals to answer the questions, Facebook is a helpful tool to get friends to answer the questions.
  4. Streamline your questions into rounds for your event
  5. Create an answer sheet for your host.
  6. Collect the top 3-6 answers for each question, the value of each answer is determined by the number of people who answered the question the same ex. Name a Planet: Earth- 24 Jupiter- 20 Mars- 15 Venus- 10 Mercury- 3 Neptune 2 In round two the points can be doubled and in round 3 the points are tripled.
  7. There is no real reason to have a 'fast money round' when playing it on your floor or with friends because there is no true incentive to get more money the prize just goes to the winning team.
  8. Choose a prize that your guests would like.
  9. Promote the event and get people to sign up to be contestants (if playing with different floors or buildings try to get teams to comprise of individual floors or buildings).
  10. If you want you can cut out the answers to put up on the wall or on a poster board for each round covered or you can just read them to your guests.
  11. You will also need strike markers, two buzzers, and a timer.
  12. Get guests to come and watch.
